Consul General Masakui Rungsung began his visit to Yukon on 24 July 2024 by paying a courtesy call on Hon’ble Adeline Webber, Commissioner of Yukon. They discussed issues of mutual interest including cultural cooperation and enhancing people-to-people connections.

Consul General Masakui Rungsung had a productive meeting with Hon’ble Ranj Pillai, Premier of Yukon, on 25 July 2024. They held discussions on wide-ranging subjects with a focus on enhancing cooperation in the fields of minerals, skill development, energy, and cultural exchange.

India gained 2,66,000 hectares of forest area annually from 2010 to 2020, securing the third spot among the top 10 countries with the most significant forest area gains during this period, according to a new report by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO).
